Manage profile, billing, and plan limits

Update account information and understand billing conditions that affect data changes.

2 min readLast reviewed:

Intended outcome

Keep account details current and identify plan conditions affecting the workspace.

Prerequisites

Sign in with the required account access. To add Microsoft sign-in, use a personal, work, or school Microsoft account whose email matches your confirmed LandlordRentals email.

Steps

  1. Open the account menu and choose Edit profile for personal details.
  2. Choose Account settings for workspace and notification settings.
  3. When Microsoft sign-in is available, choose Link Microsoft in Account settings, complete the Microsoft prompt, and return to LandlordRentals. This authenticated step prevents an email match alone from attaching a Microsoft identity to your account.
  4. Return to the account menu and choose Billing to review plan, payment state, and usage.
  5. If a feature is disabled, read the message and compare usage with the plan limit.
  6. Complete checkout or contact support when prompted.

Expected result

Profile and settings are current, Billing shows the active plan and usage, and a linked Microsoft account can be used for future sign-in.

Common problems

  • A plan may be required when Add property is disabled.
  • Follow billing warnings for past-due or inactive subscriptions.
  • If Microsoft reports that linking is required, sign in with the account's existing password or Google method first, then use Account settings > Link Microsoft. LandlordRentals never links an anonymous Microsoft response from email alone.
  • Microsoft linking fails safely when its email differs from the confirmed LandlordRentals email or when the account is a platform administrator.
  • Refresh, verify active records, and contact support if usage looks wrong.

Product boundaries

Current limits and prices are those shown during purchase; examples are not billing quotes. Microsoft linking does not grant workspace access, change approval or billing status, or add organization-wide provisioning.
