Use a province-aware lease workflow

Use only the workflow currently supported for the property's province or territory.

Prerequisites

Verify the property address and matching Canada support capability page. If you are choosing a location before creating a property, use the Canadian lease form finder to find the current supported agreement workflow and official source.

Steps

1. Under Portfolio, open Properties and confirm the province or territory.
2. Under Leases, open Lease register and select the property and unit.
3. Complete the parties, term, rent, services, and other sections shown.
4. Resolve readiness messages and review all agreement data.

Expected result

The lease uses the supported location-aware workflow.

Common problems

• Correct the property province when the workflow is unexpected.
• Do not substitute another province's workflow if capability is unavailable.
• Obtain professional guidance when a field is unclear.
